Jessica Simpson’s ‘Price of Beauty’ Gets a Makeover
Jessica Simpson’s Price of Beauty reality television show may not have been the ratings gold VH1 had hoped for, but it’s coming back for a second season—with a few revisions here and there.
While the show’s first season followed Jessica Simpson, her hairstylist Ken Paves and others on a multi-continental exploration of cultural standards of beauty, the second season will have more of a makeover focus, reports Us Magazine.
“We are here to stay with Jessica and are committed to this journey and this message with her about women, self image, etc . . . all through Jessica’s totally unique and unfiltered lens. We are really excited about the next step, which we will announce soon and will air on VH1 in 2011.”
Jessica seems to be in the midst of her own makeover. She’s been tweeting up a storm about her new vegan diet, as well as the “intense visions” she experiences while receiving cupping therapy.
