Mariah Carey’s Christmas Single ‘Oh Santa!’

Picking up where her 1994 hit ‘All I Want for Christmas Is You’ left off, Mariah Carey will be releasing a brand new holiday album, ‘Merry Christmas II You,’ on Nov. 2. The record includes four original songs written by Carey, including ‘Oh Santa!’, the album’s first single.

Jingling bells and a plea to Santa open the upbeat, festive track that has Carey wishing that he’ll bring her back her “baby” for Christmas. ‘Merry Christmas II You’ also features a new recording of ‘All I Want for Christmas Is You’ and some traditional holiday tunes, including ‘The First Noel,’ ‘Little Drummer Boy,’ ‘O Little Town of Bethlehem’ and ‘O Come All Ye Faithful.’

The 52-year-old superstar is no stranger to the brand. Madonna struck up a friendship with Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana while she was filming ‘Dick Tracy’ with then-boyfriend Warren Beatty in the late ’80s.
The D&G images are a far cry from recent images of her when she to promote her clothing line for teens in which her daughter Lourdes also co-designs called Material Girl.

Katy Perry’s Vegas Bachelorette With Rihanna

Katy Perry’s best friend Rihanna joined her in Las Vegas for a bachelorette celebration Saturday night. Perry is engaged to actor/comedian Russell Brand.

They took in a performance of ‘KA’ by Cirque du Soleil at the MGM Grand Hotel and posed backstage with cast members, seen below. Perry wore a veil piece attached to her head. Earlier in the day they partied with 25 people at the pool.

Later they went drinking, as Perry tweeted, “Signing up for a liver transplant now…”

‘Slumdog Millionaire’ star Freida Pinto has a sexy shoot in the new GQ.

“In the movie, Jamal says, ‘She’s the most beautiful girl in the world,’” she tells the magazine. “I was like, Damn it. That’s gonna be the end for me. I’m not going to get anything serious after that!”

Jessica Simpson’s boyfriend, Eric Johnson, turned 31 on Wednesday while the couple was in New York for Fashion Week.

“It’s Eric’s birthday!!!! Party in NYC!!!!!” Jessica, 30, tweeted.

That afternoon she donned a little black dress to launch her new Jessica Simpson Collection at Macy’s (scroll down for photos).

After the launch Jessica and Eric were spotted dining at Lavo, Us Weekly reports. Tuesday they were snapped in jeans leaving their hotel.

Jennifer Lopez Signs $12 Million ‘American Idol’ Contract

A month after the singer-actress’s initial deal with American Idol fell apart — thanks, in part, to demands that had gotten “out of hand,” according to a source — Lopez will after all be joining the judging panel for the show’s upcoming 10th season, sources tell PEOPLE.

Lopez’s $12 million contract, which was first reported by Deadline.com, comes two weeks after DioGuardi confirmed she was leaving the show, following in the footsteps of both Simon Cowell and new judge Ellen DeGeneres.

According to the report, Lopez was hoping for movie and TV development deals to accompany and even larger Idol salary as well as input about her new co-judges, but Fox made no commitments and she settled for a cool $12.

“She’s very excited,” a source close to Lopez says of the final deal.

Fox has no comment and a rep for Lopez did not return calls for comment.

No official word on who may be Lopez’s fellow judges but Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler said he will “probably” be a judge. Shania Twain, Harry Connick Jr., Elton John and Chris Isaak had also been rumored as possibilities.

No surprises here: Brad Pitt and Megan Fox were voted first in a poll of UK couples, who were asked which celebrities their partners would let them sleep with without it counting as cheating.

Joining Brad on the ‘allowed’ list for women were Alice in Wonderland actor Johnny Depp, 300 star Gerard Butler, soccer ace David Beckham and Twilight‘s Robert Pattinson.

Male respondents opted for Brad’s ex-wife Jennifer Aniston and his current partner Angelina Jolie, who were named second and fifth respectively, with Beyonce Knowles and Jessica Alba taking third and fourth place respectively.

Mark Pearson, Managing Director of Groupola.com, which conducted the survey of 1,198 couples, said: “I think that having a ‘list’ in a relationship is fine, as long as they are taken in jest and feelings aren’t hurt.

“Although, I do wonder if any of the respondents would ever actually follow through with their ‘list.’ I can’t help but think that even if people were confronted with the situation whilst in a serious relationship, they would probably shy away from it!”

TMZ reports the deal is in the final stages, and everything could be signed and sealed as early as next week!

It was reported that J.Lo was making some crazy “diva demands” early on, and that’s why she was taken out of the list of possible judges. Apparently, that wasn’t the case. An insider says “it’s been typical negotiating.”

Sources say Idol execs are excited to bring some new energy to the show, and are hoping Jenny from the Block will be able to give the competition a new life. She’s definitely got some big shoes to fill with Simon, Ellen, and Kara gone.

Jennifer Aniston has shot back at Bill O’Reilly following his comments about her comments about single motherhood.

Confused?

It started when Aniston said women no longer need a man to have a baby. “Women are realizing more and more knowing that they dont have to settle with a man just to have a child.”

After that, O’Reilly, while supporting single moms, said, “She’s throwing a message out to 12-year-olds and 13-year-olds that, ‘Hey, you don’t need a guy! You don’t need a dad!’ That’s destructive to our society,” he said.

Now Aniston has responded. Speaking to People magazine, Aniston said

“Of course, the ideal scenario for parenting is obviously two parents of a mature age. Parenting is one of the hardest jobs on earth. “And, of course, many women dream of finding Prince Charming (with fatherly instincts), but for those who’ve not yet found their Bill O’Reilly, I’m just glad science has provided a few other options.”
